IS2 is an IEEE conference now!

Dear list members,

I am happy to announce that IS2 is now an official IEEE conference! The IEEE Communications Society has officially decided to financially sponsor it. This marks an important step for our community. 

I would like to thank the IEEE Communications Society for their important support as well as everybody involved in the process for achieving this result, especially Prof. Stefano Giordano and Prof. Nils Peter.

The 5th IEEE International Symposium on the Internet of Sounds will soon have a new webpage hosted on the IEEE website, but we will also keep the current page on the community website. Please spread the word about the call for papers: https://internetofsounds.net/is2_2024/ 

IEEE plans to provide some financial support for the travels of students and other researchers. You will hear more about this point in the near future.
