Dear all,
Only a few days remain to submit an extended abstract for the special session of the International Conference on Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage:
“From Shape to Sound: Measuring, Preserving, and Reactivating Sound and Media Heritage”
The conference will be held in Bari, Italy, on October 14–16, 2026.
The session welcomes papers on the following topics, including but not limited to:
- Audio documents preservation
- Oral and speech archives preservation
- Audio models of ancient and electrophone musical instruments
- Media-art preservation and reactivation
- Reactivation of old computer systems for musical creativity
IMPORTANT DATES:
- Extended abstract submission deadline: June 30, 2026 (only for this special session)
- Final paper submission deadline: September 8, 2026
- Conference dates: October 14–16, 2026
