Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the first edition of FAMTech 2025, a new international workshop focused on recent advances in audio and music technology, ranging from music transcription and MIR to immersive and spatial sound.
The workshop will take place on September 12, 2025, in Palermo, Sicily, as a satellite event of EUSIPCO 2025, and is organized within the framework of the European-funded project REPERTORIUM.
FAMTech 2025 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry working on sound, audio, and music technologies. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Music information retrieval
Optical Music Recognition (OMR)
Immersive/spatial/3D audio
AI and machine learning for sound and music
Cross-disciplinary Approaches

📝 Paper submission deadline: June 1, 2025
📩 Notification of acceptance: July 1, 2025
📄 Camera-ready deadline: July 15, 2025
📍 Workshop date: September 12, 2025
