Hello everyone,
Registrations are open until Monday for the CNRS workshop on
"Emerging tropics in audio: ecoacoustics, environmental, urban, industrial, and medical acoustics"
which will be held at Ircam (Paris) next Thursday, November 13th, 2025.
The event is hybrid, both in-person and remote (Zoom). It will be fully in English.
Registration link: (free but *necessary* to access the Ircam building or to obtain the Zoom password)

click on "Inscription individuelle hors GdR", then enter name and affiliation.
We will hear four invited talks by Aurore Vicet (medical acoustics), Camille Desjonquères (ecoacoustics), Catherine Lavandier (urban acoustics), and Nicolas Misdariis (industrial acoustics and sound design).
Plus ten posters from early-career researchers on various areas of signal processing and machine learning for audio.
The full programme is below my signature.
Sincerely,
Vincent, on behalf of the organizing committee.
