Call for Tutorials
The IEEE International Symposium on the Internet of Sounds
invites tutorial proposals addressing topics related to the
Internet of Sounds and its applications. Tutorials should
provide a comprehensive overview of specific topics, tools,
methodologies, or case studies in the field, catering to
researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals.
Topics of Interest
Tutorials are expected to align with the themes of
IEEE IS2 2025, including but not limited to:
-
Networked Audio Systems and
Protocols: Architectures and applications for
networked music performance, immersive audio, wireless
acoustic networks, and protocols for the Internet of
Sounds, including energy-efficient and green networking
solutions.
-
AI and Data-Driven
Applications: Audio datasets, deep learning,
model compression for real-time AI, music information
retrieval, and intelligent music production in Internet of
Musical Things contexts.
-
Interactive and Immersive
Technologies: Web Audio, Networked Musical XR,
musical haptics, participatory live music performances,
and brain-computer interfaces for musical and audio
applications.
-
Sensing, Analysis, and
Sonification: Ecoacoustics, detection and
classification in acoustic sensor networks, sonification,
and visualization of audio and sensor data for Internet of
Sounds applications.
-
IoT and Cloud-Based Audio:
Cloud services, non-terrestrial networks (e.g., UAVs,
satellites), and 5G/6G architectures for distributed
musical and audio applications.
Proposals on interdisciplinary topics bridging audio and
communications technologies with music, art, education, and
urban innovation are particularly encouraged.
