ncSOS working examples

Does anyone have a working thredds reference(s) to sample netCDF files for point and timeseries featuretypes available via ncSOS using the CF 1.6 conventions as describes at

Hi Jeremy –

 

Are you looking for sample NetCDF files or sample SOS output?

 

If you are looking for NetCDF file examples, I’ve put together a sample file for every CF-1.6 DSG here: https://github.com/asascience-open/CFPointConventions.  You can ignore the README about generating the files and just go into the appropriate folders and look for .nc files.

 

If you are looking for a NcSOS server, you can use the following THREDDS catalog that serves all of the above files using NcSOS:

http://tdsdev.maracoos.org/thredds/catalog/DSGScan/catalog.html

Hi Kyle,

Yes, that's the info I was looking for, I didn't click down far enough into the github folders on my initial search to see the sample .nc files.  Thanks for the development thredds server live examples also.

I'm looking at one of the example files
http://tdsdev.maracoos.org/thredds/sos/DSGScan/timeSeriesProfile/timeSeriesProfile-Multidimensional-SingleStation-H.5.2/timeSeriesProfile-Multidimensional-SingleStation-H.5.2.nc

When I click on that link the capabilities document is returned but the URL itself is not a valid SOS KVP URL.  I suppose you've aliased the SOS entry point in some way?  How would someone take this file and construct a GetObservation, DescribeSensor, or GetCapabilities request? 

Also, would you mind putting this link on your github wiki page so the example instance is there alongside the documentation?

Following onto Derrick's question above, I've been trying to do a 'DescribeSensor' request like below, but am getting the below error
