Hello everyone,

Please join this week's Marine Data Cluster call where we will have a presentation from Carolina Berys on the efforts at the CCHDO to extract metadata from cruise reports with AI using the OpenAI GPT-4 LLM.

The presentation will include a short demo in a colab notebook. It is completely optional, but if you would like to follow along you can get an OpenAI API key and load it with a small dollar amount (the demo should run under $1 in US dollars). Instructions to create an API key are here: https://platform.openai.com/docs/quickstart (note that you will need a user account). Again, this is completely optional for the presentation.
