NOS has an opening for our Assistant Chief Data Officer (ACDO) position. This ZP-1301-4 Physical Scientist will be a direct hire and will reside in the NOS Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
This critical position is for a high performing individual looking to advance their career by overseeing and creating a culture of data excellence within all NOS program offices. Duties include creating and fostering an enterprise data governance and management approach, streamlining data policies and practices, ensuring investments in data programs support interoperability and standards, and coordinating with NOS data managers to ensure data quality and performance management measures are in place. The position will report directly to the NOS ACIO.
