ESIP July Meeting Recordings now available
ESIP sessions bring together the community for hands-on, interdisciplinary deep dives. This year, we explored "Bridging Divides: Data, Technology, Community" as a theme. At the July Meeting in Austin, TX and online, discussions and talks centered on cloud technologies, data stewardship, AI-readiness, community engagement, and much more.
Recordings of these sessions are now available to view on our YouTube channel. Check them out! |

Join an ESIP Committee!
It’s that time of year: refreshing our committees! ESIP's Administrative Committees are vital to our organization’s health, and we want you to have an opportunity to serve!
Although all members of the ESIP community are invited to join a Committee, each Committee requires a Type I, II and III partner representative to ensure that our committees accurately represent the depth and breadth of perspectives in the community.
Please use the form linked below to express your interest. If you have questions such as What Partner Type am I?, or what do I need to know about serving on a committee?, please reach out to st...@esipfed.org! |

If you missed it, on August 13 the Wildfire Cluster hosted Nathan McEachen from TerraFrame to discuss AI-assisted emergency management, and how a new AI-agent assisted framework allows rapid identification of impacted zones across hazards like floods and wildfires to support cross-sector decision-making. Find the recording. |

Agricultural Flash Drought Detection Using SIF and Soil Moisture Data | Sep 24, 29 This ARSET training explores how satellite-based solar-induced fluorescence (SIF) and soil moisture observations can be leveraged for early flash drought detection. Participants will learn to combine data from NASA's OCO-2 and SMAP missions to identify hidden vegetation stress weeks before conventional drought indicators respond. Through real-world case studies, attendees will gain practical skills to apply these Earth observation tools for monitoring agricultural and ecosystem impacts globally. Learn more and register.
