Hi Folks,
You’re invited to join us next Thursday and Friday, August 14–15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PDT for a free virtual satellite data training course jointly hosted by NOAA CoastWatch and the U.S. Animal Telemetry Network (ATN).
This interactive training will introduce participants to key oceanographic satellite data products (sea surface temperature, chlorophyll concentration, sea level, ocean winds, and salinity), as well as satellite telemetry data. You’ll learn how to:
-
Use the CoastWatch ERDDAP data server, the ATN data portal, and other web services to locate, visualize, subset, and download data
-
Apply techniques for matching telemetry data to satellite measurements
-
Work hands-on with R, Python, and ArcGIS through guided tutorials
We’re excited to share this training with you and look forward to seeing you next week!
Cheers,
Meg
