Dear Ocean Forecaster:

As you might know, the fully virtual OceanPrediction DCC Kick-off meeting will be launched on the 11^th and 12^th of January 2023. The event will consist of a combination of presentations, interactive sessions, and a permanent virtual exhibition with booths organized around different halls. The main one will be the “Hall of OOFS” (Operational Ocean Forecasting Services). “Walking” through this virtual hall will be like having a tour on the different OOFS worldwide. This hall will be maintained after the end of the event.

 

We would like to invite you to have a stand in this virtual Hall, showing to the rest of the world your OOFS. This will help us to create this snapshot of the worldwide panorama of OOFS and will give visibility to your system. If you agree, we would appreciate if you send us a confirmation mail to oceanpr...@mercator-ocean.fr before November first. Then, we will need some simple information about your system before November 24^th, including some images and a 2-minute descriptive video. Further instructions on how to upload this material can be found on the following link:

On the second day of the meeting, there will be a virtual 1-hour meeting for all the participants in this OOFS hall to be in contact and chat, searching for synergies and collaboration opportunities.
