Hi everyone,

Thank you for your patience as we've been navigating the impacts of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We have rescheduled the IOOS DMAC Tech webinar focused on plankton data for Thursday, November 7 at 3 pm Eastern. It will feature a panel of experts from various plankton observing projects in a webinar titled "Identifying Challenges and Solutions for Advancing IOOS Plankton Observation Data". The panelists will be Clarissa Anderson, Stace Beaulieu, Bob Currier & Barb Kirkpatrick, Maria Kavanaugh, Dylan Pugh, and Inia Soto-Ramos. The goal of this webinar is to begin a community-led conversation about data management needs and data flow guidelines for plankton data. We encourage anyone with expertise or interest in plankton data to attend and join the discussion.

Agenda:
- Introduction of the purpose of the webinar
- 5 minute lightning talks from each panelist about data management challenges and workflows within their projects
- Discussion and Q&A on best practices and data flows to make plankton available for broad usage
- Discussion of next steps to further the conversation beyond the webinar

This webinar will not be recorded. We will be using the normal DMAC Tech Webinar Google Calendar invite. Please see the meeting information below. We hope to see you there!
