ICYMI: NOAA Fish Fry tickets go on sale tomorrow (DMAC meeting social option)

Hi all, 

We all get too many emails to read from top to bottom, so in case anyone planning to attend the DMAC meeting in a few weeks missed it, the NOAA Fish Fry will be held at the Commerce Department headquarters in Washington, DC, on June 3.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow - plan to get yours before they sell out!  

Event Details: 

The NOAA Fish Fry event will take place on June 3rd in the Hoover Building. Tickets go on sale May 15th at 1 p.m. Eastern time and sell out fast. This is not a DMAC-sponsored event, but we know some members of the community may be interested in attending, and we wanted to provide the information.

Holy Moly, the tickets are already sold out. I got on 3 minutes after they went on sale but apparently that was too late. Bummer...

Unfortunately, I didn't realize myself that it was akin to a Taylor Swift show, or I would have emphasized the urgency more.  I assumed they'd be available for a few days if not a few hours.  

Hopefully some other folks were able to buy extra tickets and could sell them to anyone interested in going.  We can make an announcement somehow during the meeting about a ticket exchange.
