What are the 10 operational urls of the TDS servers?

Thanks!
Rob

* *Interagency Modeling Activities*: _*Significant Accomplishment*_.
With the installation at NANOOS, there is now a THREDDS Data
Server (TDS) version 4 serving model results in *10 of 11
regions*. In AOOS, there was an issue with the TDS server
response (an anomaly in the DDX response of the TDS server), and
while it is believed that Unidata has fixed it, they have not
had
an opportunity to test. Sincere thanks to Rich Signell, United
States Geological Survey (USGS), for his tremendous effort in
accomplishing this feat.

Hi Rob:

We're not yet on the DIF table/spreadsheet, but the PacIOOS THREDDS
server is at

http://oos.soest.hawaii.edu/thredds

It had been running well since I started it up this past Spring, but I've
been having some recent problems with tomcat crashing almost daily.
I think it's a java memory problem, but no solution yet. Anyway, all
this is to say that depending on the day, we've got an operational TDS.

Folks,

Yes, it's a significant accomplishment that we have THREDDS Data
Servers running in 10 of the 11 regions! The NOAA IOOS Z-Gram gave me
all the credit, but it's all of you folks that made this possible.
I'm just excited to be a part of making all this data become available
for scientific and sophisticated users like developers.

As Jim mentioned though, we made the decision to install the shiny new
TDS Version 4, and as a result have been helping Unidata shake out a
few bugs. So it will still be a while before we can say that these
sites are operational. Many folks are still sorting out just how
they want to aggregate their model output and which datasets they want
to present to the public, so this is definitely a work in progress.

To keep track of the THREDDS Data Servers that are installed in the
IOOS regions, I made (what else?) a THREDDS Catalog, which you can
access here:
http://coast-enviro.er.usgs.gov/thredds/ioos_catalog_top.html

I've also uploaded the xml version to the Files section of our INTEROP
Google Group.
http://groups.google.com/group/ioos_model_data_interop/files

Perhaps I should make it a Google Doc and give everybody in the group
the ability to edit it. Would that be useful?

Thanks,
Rich

Hi Rich,

Please update the AOOS TDS link to:

http://137.229.40.88/opendap/

We are in the same boat as Jim, not quite operational. I'll set up
some of the forecasts as aggregated sets and turn on WMS and WCS as we
would like to take advantage of these services in the future for
product generation.

So, there you have it. 11 of 11 :)

Rob,

That's great! Okay, I updated the Catalog of IOOS TDS Catalogs at:

http://coast-enviro.er.usgs.gov/thredds/ioos_catalog_top.html

to show the AOOS THREDDS Server.

I've also updated the xml version to the Files section of our INTEROP
Google Group.
http://groups.google.com/group/ioos_model_data_interop/files

I think if you right click and "save link as" you can get the original
XML file (without being processed by your browser).
