Folks,

I've been going around saying we need a python toolbox that foster
model data interoperability by taking advantage of the CF conventions
(as the NetCDF-Java library and our NJ Toolbox for Matlab do).

But reading EOS a few weeks ago, I was reminded about the Climate Data
Analysis Tools (CDAT) package developed primarily for scientists to
compare climate model results. It is designed to work with CF-
compliant model data, so in theory should work with our CF-compliant
ocean model results as well.

Has anyone tried it and have experiences to report?

Thanks,
Rich

P.S. I uploaded the EOS article on CDAT (in case you didn't see it) to
