Dear colleagues,

The Anxiety Disorders Center is conducting a research study for adults with social phobia (social anxiety disorder).  This study involves a single session of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).  It does not involve treatment, and existing treatment will not be interrupted.

Participants will be paid $20 per hour for their time.

We are looking for adults (age 18 and over) with a primary diagnosis of social phobia of at least moderate severity.  We are unable to include individuals with bipolar disorder, psychotic disorder, OCD, PTSD, or substance use disorder; pregnant women; or individuals with serious medical or neurological conditions.

If you know of someone who might be eligible for this study, or if you would like more information about the study, please call Laura Bragdon at 860-545-7386 or email her at laura....@hhchealth.org.

Best regards,
David Tolin
