Dear Colleague,
I am writing to inform you of some exciting new treatment options at the Anxiety Disorders Center. All of these treatments are provided as part of our ongoing research studies and are offered free of charge.
We currently have treatment programs for individuals with:
· Hoarding disorder
o Excessive clutter that impacts the patient’s ability to use surfaces in their home appropriately.
· Generalized anxiety disorder
o Excessive, and difficult to control worries about real life events (e.g. finances, relationships, the health and safety of themselves and others).
· Social phobia
o Excessive anxiety in social or performance situations.
· Obsessive compulsive disorder
o Excessive and unwanted doubts or worries that often result in time consuming checking compulsions, washing compulsions, ordering/arranging behaviors, repeating behaviors or mental rituals.
· Panic disorder
o Excessive concerns about the consequences of panic attacks, such concerns about having a heart attack, losing control, or going crazy.
We appreciate that you are very busy, but if you could circulate the included materials amongst suitable patients this would be much appreciated
Best,
David
