Hi there,

The attached board is normally powered by 3V Lithium Battery (CR2032) with discharge current of 0.2mA, can I replace the batter with one of IOIO 3.3V output pins?

0.2mA sounds suspicious. Are you sure this is the peak current? A picture is completely useless - specs are better...
Any reason why not to power the thing out of the IOIO 3.3V line? Do you want to power it on-off?

Ytai, you are absolutely correct. There is not reason why not to power it out of the IOIO 3.3V line since that does exactly what I want (i.e. have it power all the time, not on & off).

One more question. Do I need to add a diode between the IOIO 3.3V line and the board positive connector or is it just fine connecting it directly?

Thanks again, and best regards!

Most likely you can connect it directly, but it hard to answer without knowing anything about this module.
