helloIOIO , IOIO hardware tester and Samsung Note N7000

I'm running android 4.1.2 on samsung note

IOIO hardware tester seem to be able to blink the stat LED

however, installing helloIOIO and running it doesn't return and responses.

this is what I got from IOIO hardware tester:

IOIO hardware : SPRK0020

IOIO Bootloader: IOIO0400

IOIO Firmware: IOIO0330

I'm not sure if I'm missing something in the compiler, but I'm following the beginner's guide in sparkfun to the last dot.

Is the pre-built HelloIOIO.apk provided in the software bundle working for you?

Could you have possibly used the V4.x software with your V3.x firmware? If so, looking at the logcat output would have told you that.

Thanks alot Ytai, if you didnt mention about the software version, I wouldn't have checked it. I was using the v4.x software instead of the v3.30 software.

I have the same issue with both software v3 and v4. also is the IOIO hardware tester app open source? Thanks.

xelhion, what issue are you having? The original post has been resolved by downgrading the software or upgrading the firmware.

Also the IOIO hardware tester app is not mine, you should contact the author through his contact details on Google Play.
