Funds Raising for Kids Conference

Dear All,
From 26 Dec to 1 Jan, the Youth Team of Initiatives of Change will be organizing Kids Conference for the age group of 12-15 for students across India. Enclosed herewith please find Kids Conference Brochure.
We have started the process of visiting schools in Bangalore and educating them about this Conference and its benefits to their students and families.
To have an ideal economic and social mix for the Conference, many of us in Bangalore decided to sponsor students from different backgrounds. As you might be aware that many of us are working for improvement of Government Primary School in Jogpalya-Urdu Medium. Our results of empowering the students and teachers over the last 1 year has paid off, and now the school is a benchmark amongst its peers.
We have requested the Principal to hand pick 4 deserving students along with 1 teacher who would be accompany them. The Conference Fee along with boarding would be covered by funds that we generate.
Tryst with time, introduced us to United Arts Society (UAS), Bangalore based IT workers entrepreneurship venture to bring Arts to mass. UAS theater trainer Mr. Upendra would be conducting Theater Workshop during the Conference. We have thought of bringing this spice of arts to our present program such that the students on the last day would be presenting their own theater production along with inculcation of the IofC essence. This would assist the students in handling stage fear, confidence building, public speaking and more necessary skills as well. Costs incurred to have this workshop shall also be covered by funds that we generate.
We plan to send at least 15 student contingent from Bangalore for this years Kids Conference. Would request you to contribute in many ways for this:
I was present last year for the Kids Conference, Its a memorable experience, to witness the positive change in the students.
Nevertheless the bigger challenge is to collect the Funds, by which we will be able to have a good social mix at the conference.

- Generating Funds worth Rs. 30,000 for 6 participants (4 students+ 1 Government School Teacher + 1 UAS Trainer) for their Conference fee, Train Bookings, Maxi Cab Booking from Pune-Panchgani)
- Confirming Partcipants for the Kids Conference, by ideally visiting schools with Principal Principals picking the students or family or friends network.
