Dear Babins, In anticipation of yet another thrilling Barclays Premier League season, the world's biggest fantasy football game is back. Fantasy Premier League attracted 2.8m players last season and champion Sam Pater from Kenilworth, Warwickshire in the UK will no doubt be keen to defend his title. So whether you're keen to stop him, defend your office mini-league title or just make up for last season's shortcomings, leave nothing to chance and register your team now. Remember, once you've entered your team you can invite friends to join your mini-leagues and make unlimited transfers before the Gameweek 1 deadline (11:30 Sat 18 Aug). While largely unchanged from last season, you can expect to see the following improvements within the game: • A status page will be added to let you know when in-game points have been verified, goals and assists reviewed, bonus points added and tables updated. • An info box will also highlight individual goals and assists undergoing review. • A new statistics section will provide a comprehensive overview of all players' performances on a match-by-match basis and includes filters to view extended stats when researching transfers. • Rate My Team (RMT) enables you to share your pre-Gameweek deadline team via Facebook and Twitter if you're in search of a second opinion or have just played your wildcard. • Improved player availability status flags now include 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% likelihood of playing. • A user-friendly tool for you to select your team's kit colours. Additionally, news and updates will be posted via Facebook and Twitter @premierleague so ensure you 'like' and follow us before the new season kicks off.
