/etc/resolv is overwritten after restart

I may be doing something wrong here, but everytime i stop/start a jail, its /etc/resolv.conf is restored to some original value.
I seem to be unable to find where that comes from.

Makes me wonder what other system files that have been modified inside jail will be restored after a restart.

Any idea where i could find an answer to the above?

Could it be that the content is taken fro the host's /etc/resolv.conf?

# iocage get resolver jailname
/etc/resolv.conf
#


The above snippet is the default behaviour, no changes were made
