IBM India is working on a 'Digital Consumer Survey' trying to capture the
media/content consumption behaviour of various segments. This is a part of
the Global Digital Consumer Survey & will be specifically used to create
the India PoV around same.
Media & Entertainment Industry in India is experiencing the classic 'digital divide' with almost all the mediums
likely to coexist across the segments. It is of particular interest to see how the behavioral & cultural aspect of our
country defines this shift e.g. while Japan could easily be termed as one of most 'gadget savvy connected' nation, but Japanese people still prefer to get their daily dose of news information from traditional print newspaper only.
Responding to this survey should ideally not take more than 5 mins of your
