Dear Cornelius

As you know I had a project at the Kampala City Abattoir. KCA generate 2 skits (containers) of undigested gut materials every day. It is handled by the municipality (KCC) and said to be transported to a place for "composting". I have not visited the site.

I met the vice-Mayor of Kampala City Council i Stockholm last Monday and she raised the issue of waste management at a seminar with the Swedish Association for Local Authorities. KCC will host the World Championshion in Cooperation next year ( www.globetree.org) and works closely with the Swedish NGO where I am a volunteer.

BSF larvae can be seen at the abattoir and cleaning up whatever meat and fat that is found in the horns of cattle.

This would be a good site for the project.
