Subject: IOBB activities
Dear Charles,Jaya and every IOBB member,
A number of decisions were made at our last conference in Perth. What happened ?
a) I tried a Google search for "IOBB" - Result: Not known. WHY ??
b) Where can anybody find anything about IOBB on the internet ?
c) Where is the list of members ?
d) How can anybody find anything about IOBB ??
I am writing to you in a way, a newcomer would like to find our group.
During my time as Chairman we had a website open to anybody. It contained
a) newsletters
b) membership list
c) activities
d) reports from members of the organisation.
e) financial situation as to how paid and who did not.
If we do not find anyone who can be very active on this part of IOBB activities, IOBB will never advance. For example, where can one find the National Representative ? How many members do we have ? Who are the members of the Executive ?
As a newcomer, there is absolutely NO answer. How can we go forward without it. I know it is a lot of work and I remember that I was sitting a lot on my computer to keep it all up and I am sure Jacky Foo continued similarly.
You have to register the webpage in a way, anybody can find it on Google Search.
Just think about it , please. Without a worldwide publicity, nothing can be done .
I apologise for my complaints, but I hate to see IOBB disappearing from the worldscene after what has been done in the past.
With kindest regards and best wishes
Horst
