Dear all,
As a direct consequence of my engagement in both making of and
attending several conferences, workshops, and symposia within the
field of bioenergy over the past years, I have often witnessed failing
numbers of participants. Despite the fact that the organisers did a
great effort in creating awareness about the events, the relevant
groups of people were not always reached.
No real movement towards a sustainable society can be started without
the necessary awareness among decision makers, academic societies,
technology providers, and other relevant players. Conferences,
symposia, workshops, and exhibitions are necessary prerequisites in
this context, since they often provide the attendees with state-of-the-
art knowledge that can be crucial in decision making on many levels.
Therefore, I have started to collect information about events that are
relevant for people interested in bioenergy, biotechnology, and energy
and compiled this information in a single file.
The list, although still being in its infancy, will hopefully help in
disseminating knowledge and making it available for a broader
audience.

Proposals for events that should appear on the list are warmly
welcomed. Comments in general are naturally also appreciated. Updates
