Charles, thank you for this information. I do not think it is something we can alter our course to do. We presently are concentrating on using our Compressed Earthen Block technology that uses local clay soils to make 7000 16 to 19 kg solid blocks per day. The Thermal Efficiency of our blocks is 30 to 36 while cement blocks is 3. The cost of one of our blocks is $,14 cents US without profit, overhead or financing included.
We believe our process will create blocks that are 8 to 12 mega pascal without cement and our roof tiles, made with 30% waste plastic will provide a high quality and low cost house for around $10,000 USD.
Please take a look at our web site www.esgint.com to see a video and photos of the "Demo House" we have just completed in Durban. We intend to build a demo house in Nigeria, Ghana and Zambia in the near future. The Durban house has two bedrooms, a family area, kitchen, indoor toilet and shower, rainwater storage, Photovoltaic Electrical system that operates pumps for the water for the toilet and shower and LED lighting in the house. There is a solar water heater and we are working on a solar water purifier for drinking water.
We do have technologies that address the topics listed in your email but low cost housing is so very important that we are concentrating on it at this time. We have a process to convert green and market waste into an Organic Compost that replaces chemical fertilizers, we have an aquaculture expert on our team. He built the Ecuador and some Asian Aquaculture industries from nothing. We can remove aquatic plants from dams, reservoirs and waterways as well as mud and sludge in the bottom. This restores the storage capacity of the water facilities.
Please let me know what you think of the photos and video on the web site. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
