[io-tools] Wazformat development status

Hi!
we, as a company are extensively using wazformat for identifying
formats. Around december of this year we reported issues #28 #29 and
#30.
Unfortunately they're becoming day by day more critical, at the point
we're thinking about taking out the library from our code.
Any plans to fix them?
