We are sad to announce the passing, in Wellington, of David Young,  son of Percy(Pessach) and Eve (Chava) and brother of Michelle (Michal) Davidovits, Gaila (Goldman z"l) and Tanya (Preston).

David was the beloved husband of Lynda, and the father of Reuven, Jessica and Miriam. The funeral will take place in Wellington on Monday 31.3.25.

Michelle will be sitting Shiva from Monday  at her home

The INZFA has been a little quiet over recent years.

Fair to say that the world around us has changed just a little, so we think it’s time to see where everyone is at and to connect us all together.

 

How?

 

What better way to re-connect than by using social media! We are finally catching-up and even admit to using a little AI too!! 

We have opened a Face Book group called INZFA Israel New Zealand Friendship Association which we would love to have you join.

We also encourage everyone to nudge their Kiwi friends in Israel to join, as well as anyone in NZ wanting to visit Israel or make Aliyah.

 

What’s it for?

 

The aim of the group is open channels of social and business communication between us all, of course keeping to all the rules of the group. Social events, jobs that may be of interest, ideas to help Olim or visitors. The only thing that it is not is political. There’s enough of that to quench any political thirst elsewhere.

 

Your Ideas

There is a large group of Kiwis all over Israel and it would be great to have connections that could be social, helpful and supportive. But it is really up to us all to say what we would like to do.

Whether it is gatherings, former Shlichim, or a good meat pie…. we can chat about or do whatever is of interest.

Every now again we will post stuff that we think may interest you and you of course are encouraged to do the same.

We are sad to announce the passing of Dina Bookman (ex Phillips), the daughter of Millie and Sam Phillips of Wellington, mother of Uri and Shahar, and sister of Ruth (ז"ל),Ken and Karl(ז"ל).

 

The funeral will take place at Kibbutz Yizrael on Friday 4th July at 11am.
