Note Windows 7 will install fine on this model however the Dell Windows 7 Reinstallation DVD will not activate on the Dimension 9200. Dell never sold the system with Windows 7. Hence the system is not licensed to run Windows 7 and the BIOS will not be accepted by the Reinstallation DVD, prompting you for activation or purchase of a product key within 9 days similar to here.
