I have an applicant that submitted with two "ESA" animals. Our application says only one pet under 30 pounds, and no vicious breeds, How can we know if these "ESA" pets are vicious breeds without getting into hot water? Does anyone know how the actual law reads?

I’m not an attorney, but I do have an ESA.
From what I know the federal government does not honor an ESA under the ADA act.
I know that restaurants and other businesses can turn away people with emotional support animals.
I can only assume that if they can turn them away that it is true that they do not fall under the American with disabilities act as does an actual support animal.

There are probably numerous searches that will explain what is required under the ADA act.

Personally, when they change the law or clarified it and it cut out ESA’s, from what I remember, I said to myself having an ESA means absolutely nothing now.
