Very good question. What is the Doctrine of Dinosaurs? What does the
Scripture say about them?

I have the very same question. I was talking about that the other day with a friend of mine. I still don't know what I think. Part of me is like, God created those animals to give us something to investigate and explore knowing that we will have that desire. Is our carbon dating accurate and the dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. I don't know. There is one passage that talks about a water monster (my words), but that could have been a whale or something not so prehistoric. I don't know.

Great topic though.

Thank you for bringing this up. I was too embarrassed to say anything during class on this one. Again, felt like an irrelevant question at the time, but it's been bugging me. I don't see anywhere in Scripture where there is mention of very large reptiles, etc. Did man and dinosaur co-exist, or is this one of God's mysteries to be kept from us now and revealed at a later time? God has chosen what he wants to reveal to us in Scripture and he'll reveal more things later perhaps, and maybe this is one of those things.

This is an article from a site that has very detailed information
about creation:

http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/nab/what-happened-to-the-dinosaurs

I'm not sure how objective the author is, but many of the arguments he
makes sound reasonable.

Hey all---only skimmed the article but just to be clear this is just one
position among faithful Christians and not necessarily the only faithful
position.
Ken Hamm is I think a staunch young earth proponent...and this drives his
conclusions about everything age-related..like dinosaurs. So read with this
in view.
