Dear colleagues,
Thank you for your interest in doing a Grundtvig learning partnership about democracy. Currently we are partners from Romania, France, Bulgaria, Moldova and Berlin/Germany. Possibly partners from Austria, Czech Republic and Scotland may also participate. Moreover, I thought to invite an organisation in Greece. It would be a nice combination!
I think it is time to get to know each other more directly now and to start the application process. For that reason I would like to invite you to take part in a video conference. We can use this platform: http://fm.ea-tel.eu/.
For some of you it might be the first time to communicate through such a tool. What to do in advance? It is necessary to go on this website, to click at “Login”, click at the small written words “Get an account now” (for those who did not used this tool yet) and to fill in the form. If you are “signed in” you will be able to participate.
How to take part in a video conference? You click at the link I will send to you after we have agreed on a time. You have then to sign in with your e-mail address and password. You will see every participant and yourself (!). It is simple to use: If you wish to speak, click at “broadcasting”. If you are ready, click at the same “broadcasting” button again. If somebody else is talking and you wish to contribute something, click also at “broadcasting” and you will be in the queue and can talk when your predecessor is ready.
I guess we would need 2 or 3 video conferences to develop the application. At the first one I propose to introduce each other and to talk about the
-Learning partnership type including the funding,-issue,
-target groups,
-aims and objectives,
-workplan / activities and
-results.
If we were quickly we should also discuss the topics (point E.2).
During the 2nd conference it would be good to have an exchange about the:
-work separation / distribution of tasks (including who is the co-ordinator),
-horizontal issues,
-dissemination plan.
And sure, if you were interested in talking about other points too – we are free to do it.
The video conference has to be booked in advance. I propose to hold the 1st conference on Tuesday 29th January between 14and 16 o’clock and the 2nd one on 5th February also between 10 and 12 or 16 to 18 o’clock (at Central European time). What times would you prefer? Or should we choose other ones? The deadline for sending the application form is 21st February We should calculate enough time to get the signature from the directors of your organisations. From my point of view, we should therefore finish the application procedure on Wednesday 16th February.
Please find attached the application form. I started to fill in page 1 which means the project title (as working title).
I would be very pleased to do a Learning partnership together.
With best regards from Berlin,
Sophia
