Dr. Ashok Seth returns to Escorts Heart Institute
Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Ltd. (EHIRCL), amongst the world’s largest stand alone cardiac institutions, today announced at a press conference the return of Dr. Ashok Seth, internationally renowned cardiologist, to Escorts Heart Institute as Chairman, Cardiac Sciences and Chief Cardiologist. Dr. Seth’s return will considerably enhance the already high level of clinical competency at the hospital. Dr. Seth will lead the ‘Comprehensive Cardiac Programme’ at Escorts, which includes Adult & Paediatric Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery, Minimally Invasive & Robotic Cardiac Surgery.
Dr. Seth who has contributed significantly to the growth, development and training of Interventional Cardiology in Asia Pacific, has been awarded the prestigious national recognition, Padma Shri, for his invaluable contribution and achievements in the field of medicine. He has pioneered numerous new techniques of angioplasty in Asia Pacific.
Speaking at the press conference Dr. Seth, who has also been featured in the ‘Limca Book of Records’ for having conducted the highest number of angiograms and angioplasties in the world, shared, “I have been associated with Escorts Heart Institute for over 16 years and have experienced the dedication and perseverance of my fellow colleagues.
