Invasive Crayfish Collaborators,
This is a friendly reminder that the webinar "Working with Michigan Pet and Pond Retailers to Prevent Aquatic Invasive Species" will begin today at 1:00 pm CT/ 2:00pm ET. Natural Resources Educator Paige Filice from Michigan State University Extension will discuss the role of pet and pond retailers in preventing aquatic invasive species (AIS), as well as the efforts made by the Reduce Invasive Pet and Plant Escapes (RIPPLE) program to reduce AIS spread. Paige will highlight retailer engagement techniques, key takeaways from retailer surveys, and a new crayfish outreach item applicable to anyone in the Great Lakes basin who provides invasive crayfish education.
