Invasive Crayfish Collaborators,

We're excited to announce that the Invasive Crayfish Collaborative (ICC) will be hosting a workshop at the upcoming Upper Midwest Invasive Species Conference (UMISC) in Duluth, Minnesota. The workshop will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 10:20 AM to 12:00 PM

This will be a great opportunity to connect with other crayfish enthusiasts, collaborate, and get energized about important future ICC projects. We invite you to join us as we discuss high-priority projects for 2025 that align with our recently developed five-year strategic plan (PDF).

During the workshop, we will:
  1. Review and discuss the upcoming projects and initiatives for 2025, such as:
    • Assessing field sampling guides and methods for broad applicability.
    • Organizing workshops for both invasive species experts and non-experts.
    • Refining and expanding risk assessments and decision-making tools for managers.
  2. Map out actionable steps and identify necessary resources.
  3. Set clear goals and timelines for 2025.
If you are interested in attending this workshop, please RSVP using this Google form: https://forms.gle/VJAL1YUqJ1t55XUA7.

Please also feel free to forward this information along to any colleagues you know who may be interested in participating.

If you have any questions, please email Natalia Szklaruk at szkl...@illinois.eduWe can't wait to see you in Duluth!
