Izzy Paulsen, a Sea Grant-funded master's student at Purdue University, is conducting research on the motivations of teachers using live crayfish in classrooms. As part of her thesis, she is interviewing science teachers (grades 3-12) who have used live crayfish in their classes. Interviews last around one hour and are conducted online or over the phone. Participants will receive a $40 Venmo payment or check for their time.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and teachers can skip any questions they're not comfortable answering. The study has been reviewed by the Purdue Institutional Review Board, and the researchers will protect your confidentiality in accordance with IRB policies.
