The Roth Lab at Michigan State University's Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, in collaboration with Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant and MSU Extension, is working to enhance our understanding of crayfish monitoring and surveillance throughout the Great Lakes
Basin.
We're seeking input from individuals, organizations, and interested parties who have studied or monitored crayfish in the Great Lakes region since 2010. Your responses to our brief survey will directly inform a comprehensive report highlighting current crayfish
monitoring efforts, identifying strengths, and pinpointing areas for improvement.
Additionally, our team is coordinating training opportunities to support crayfish identification skills and regulatory knowledge, helping to protect native crayfish populations and prevent the spread of invasive species.
Please take a moment to complete these short forms and contribute to protecting our waterways:
Thank you for your valuable contribution to conserving the Great Lakes ecosystem!
Sincerely,
William Ota, Ph.D.
