Rusty crayfish threaten Aitkin County lakes and wild rice
Rusty crayfish were recently found in Big Sandy Lake, Hill Lake, and Ripple Lake within Aitkin County, Minnesota. Local officials urge residents to follow “Clean, Drain, Dry” practices to prevent further spread.
Swarms of crayfish spotted crawling across yards and roads in Sperry, OK
Sperry, Oklahoma residents have reported large numbers of crayfish appearing just before sunrise. The unusual surge is believed to be linked to recent rains.
