Reminder: 5-Year Strategic Plan Final Review

Invasive Crayfish Collaborators,

This is a friendly reminder to review the ICC five-year strategic plan (attached) and send any feedback by Friday, May 31st.

As background, the five-year strategic plan is being created to help guide the direction of the ICC for the next five years. It contains a list of priority projects and resources intended to equip Great Lakes crayfish stakeholders and partners with the tools, knowledge, and strategies necessary to effectively address the challenges posed by invasive crayfish. The plan was developed based on information gathered from a survey of ICC members, virtual meetings, and ICC Advisory Committee support. 

We welcome all feedback and would appreciate your thoughts on whether you believe the components of the strategic plan are achievable, impactful, and responsive to your needs as crayfish managers, researchers, hobbyists, consumers/producers, and enthusiasts. Please note that the ICC will convene this Fall/Winter to develop an implementation plan, identify interested partners, and assign leads to tasks.

Please review the attached document and send any feedback by close-of-business on Friday, May 31st. You can directly comment on the document itself (ideally using Word's "Track Changes" feature) and return it to Natalia Szklaruk via szkl...@illinois.edu.
