For anyone still wondering, my Flash Player Projector functionality (flashplayer_32_sa.exe) was not affected by Adobe's disabling of the browser plugin, or from uninstalling that version. I did take the precaution of placing the Flash Player Projector in a separate location from the regular Flash files.

Ever since Flash died, I have been using the flash projector provided by the Adobe people. The flash projector is very excellent, except for the fact that it makes it obvious what you have been using it for. It shows up to the last 9 files you have accessed using the projector. I tried deleting the flash player cache, but that just deleted all the data for my games and did nothing for my history. Please help, thank you.

im a bit late but another option is:installing jpexs free flash decompiler you can go to the advanced settings-paths(or just click the play button by default and it will just bring you there if you havent set it up before) and they will have a waybackmachine link that allows you to see the original adobe downloads and get it.

The simplest way to extract and install this file is to click on "files" on your side panel, Navigate to the directory you downloaded to and then click on flash_player_sa_linux.x86_64.tar.gz to extract flashplayer to the directory of your choice.

Does anyone know where I can find earlier builds of the stand-alone flash players? I have 11.7 and the new 12, but I would like to get all versions of the Flash projector if I could. I have huge collections of Flash games and applications and such (over 123GB), and I would like to also have the debugger option for testing as well.

Other than on my Mac, I've never used more than one build of the Projector. It doesn't do so well on Windows with multiple copies and multiple builds. Windows Registry and shared DLLs see to that. Without setting up Virtual Machines, it's going to be tough to get around uninstalling and reinstalling, I'm afraid.

Oh my gosh, I am such an idiot. I was running the included installer, thinking that was the one that was the stand-alone. The stand-alone players have "_sa" added to them. That really makes me look like a Flash noob.

Do you (or anyone, lol) know of any third-party software that can play Flash games like the projector? Or do any additional functions, like maybe on-the-fly memory patching, process analyzing, etc? I am looking for any tools or applications that might help me analyze SWF files.

Alright, I have some tools but I'm looking to update my toolkit. Actually, I just remembered that SWFTools and SWFRip are open-source, so I think I will throw some source up on GitHub and start making some of my own tools.

We have the current application dependency on Adobe Flash player till we are able to migrate out of Adobe Flash Player dependency. I am trying to access the Comunity link to download the archive for standalone version of Flash player.

HI developers. I need information on how to use KHUT on Adobe Flash Player Projector 32 debug. Here's my step :
1. Login as usual in KHUT.
2. Open the game "Strike Force Heroes 3" with Adobe Flash Player Projector.
3. Attach process to "flashplayer_32_sa_debug.exe"
4. Search games manually.
5. Select n AOB Hack. "ex. Free Slot Machine".
6. Hit "Apply Hack".
7. Result is Failed.

But, when I manually search using Cheat Engine, I can find, change it, and it work.
Am I attach a wrong process or this KHUT only work on Browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc) ? There is no plugin-container.exe in my process list. Please Help ...

The players provided to you as part of the Adobe Flash installation process are provided for testing and development purposes. All rights to use Adobe Flash Player are governed by the Adobe Flash Player End User License Agreement.

You may make copies of a Windows or Macintosh projector that you create using Adobe Flash Professional or Flash Builder and distribute those copies solely for internal use (i) by yourself or personnel within your organization or (ii) by one other party on whose behalf you created the projector.

Adobe provides a range of licensing options for distributing Adobe Flash Player within corporate intranets, on fixed media, or for porting Adobe Flash Player to hardware or devices using the Adobe Flash Player SDK.

The download has been tested by an editor here on a PC and a list of features has been compiled; see below. We've also created some screenshots of Adobe Flash Player Debugger to illustrate the user interface and show the overall usage and features of this flasher debugging program.

Adobe Flash Player Debugger is a special version of the Adobe Flash Player which can help debug Flash files, content and videos. The debugger (aka debug players or content debuggers) and standalone (aka projector) versions of Flash Player are available for all users.

Features of Adobe Flash Player Debugger

Compatibility and LicenseAdobe Flash Player Debugger is provided under a freeware license on Windows from miscellaneous software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 32.0.0.465 is the latest version last time we checked.

If you are unable to update your RMS implementation, you can leverage (for a few more months) the Adobe Enterprise Enablement feature. I did a quick search on Adobe Enterprise Enablement - here is a video of a user creating and placing the config file to enable Flash on your device.

The debugger is a standalone flash player that runs without a browser on your computer. If you put the address of your DVX switcher flash file in as the file to open you can still access the switcher setup on the DVX. Enter this in the file open dialog: _hd.swf

Note that the direct download link, if clicked as is, results in a 404 not found. You need to remove the closing parenthesis ")" that comes with the link as typed. The same is likely if you copy the file open link to the DVX.

NI-DVX - there is a module that adds the switcher pages back as HTML
NX-DVX - module works, but there is also firmware
RMS - there is a software update that brings HTML5 AND fixes legacy mode support

As far as I'm aware that is only applicable to the web-browser plugin version. Standalone/Projector should still work fine. At the very least 32.0.0.453 which is the last update I pushed is still working perfectly fine here. (haven't build/updated to 465 yet so I can't say anything about that)

EDIT3: If the standalone/projector does indeed also end up containing said time-bomb, the next best solution I can think of is to use Ruffle browser addon/extension to play your flash content using your browser.

I am also experiencing the problem of having no sound when playing anything. Like @Undeemiss, I am stumped at how to fix that. Running ldd /usr/bin/flashplayer doesn't seem to indicate any missing dependencies. It appears to be using ALSA, which is pretty arcane voodoo to me, and I'm also stumped at how to get it to work.

When I used this to run Bloons TD 4 and Bloons TD 5, the player appeared not to be making any sound, despite both games having sound. I'm sure it's probably user error, but I wanted to ask here just in case there's a simple solution I'm unaware of (or there isn't one at all)

Suppressing EOL Uninstall PromptsIn the latter half of 2020, as part of Flash Player's end of life (EOL) process, Adobe will start prompting customers to uninstall Flash Player. This prompt is optional and can be dismissed by the end user. To reduce friction in a managed installation environment, administrators can set either of the following properties in the client's mms.cfg to disable the prompt from appearing:AutoUpdateDisable = 1OrEOLUninstallDisable = 1
