Thanks for your answer! We succeeded with the new auto file to flash the easy installer to the module, however there seems to be a class in the module version. That is, the easy installer mentions that the module version is V1.0A (instead of V1.0B as on the sticker). As such, the easy installer displays the message that demo images as available here Downloads & Installers Toradex Developer Center are not compatible with this module. My scenario is this: I want the installer to completely remove the old version (all files except those created by the application during its lifetime) and replace it with the new version.
So far I was using NSIS. I wanted to try Wix but got a little doubt since people on forums say it will take you about 30 days to learn it while one can start off with NSIS in 1-2 days. However, for a standard installation that typical users need, it took me 2 days to get a really good installer package using Wix. YaST partitioner is the best GUI tool I've seen: lets me create all types of partitions, very well visualized LVM, some network functions I haven't seen (install onto other PCs in the network?)... option to resize a LUKS partition of previous system? GParted wasn't up to this task last time I tried - made the system not boot anymore, but I extended it +10GB out of curiosity, and it did that no problem, still booted. The lack of notepad hurts again when typing LUKS passwords - can't check if what I'm typing is actually what I want (keyboard regional stuff), nor I can turn off asterix*** at LUKS input to ditch the notepad. Also can't comfortably adjust partition position within the free space with a mouse drag or "space before/after" inputs, instead I have to manually type disk sectors range, for which I really could use a calculator.
Overall I have mixed feelings about this experience, I failed to install to encrypted LVM, then failed to install with LUKS2, finally succeeded with LUKS1, but then I wish the password prompt was more user friendly like in Ubuntu: centered prompt showing asterix** input dynamically and allowing for simple retries, instead of this static single text row, where I don't see if I'm typing and on failed attempt it kicks me to "grub> ..". The difference seems to be that Debian-based distros don't handle encrypting "/boot", so these systems boot+decrypt from full 1GB boot environment, while distros that encrypt their "/boot" (OpenSUSE and Arch) have to work with "/boot/efi" only until proper "/boot" is decrypted. But the EFI partition is 100MB big, can't it store more code to allow for comfy password dialog?

But the final retail build just crashes. If you want to try this you need the French version (all other language version uses some sort of exe packing newer Windows versions hate) and since the installer will probably fail (just kill the installer when it throws a error before it rolls back) you might need to know how it knows where to look for data. First it needs to be run with "-cdrom:driveletter" as an argument, second you need C:\Windows\Ubisoft\ubi.ini to contain this. The game launches fine in DxWnd (haven't tried playing it though)
