Unlike its developers, Intype is fast.
Ha-ha! That's nice!

Now that the website is out can you guys :) post like a road map on the official website of the progress on intype (what's being worked on) so us users can feel like we're in the know without actually having to ask it!

I am stoked! Intype really makes a Textmate fanboy like me feel at home on Windows. I want to give you money. No, seriously, where's the donate button?

Also, thanks! You guys rock!

I agree with William. I'd love to donate or pre-order a 1.0 license or something.

We currently are in the middle of solving all the legal and business stuff behind that, so definitely stay tuned. :)

Congratulations to the team that brought out Intype (and the new website!). I hope Intype goes commercial so we can have a reliable release cycle and a business model for the team to thrive on.

Only Mac folks have had the luxury of a visually appealing text editing environments. There are many good text editors for windows, both paid and free, but none are as slick and clean as Intype. (See my screenshot at 1920x1200 :) ).

Couple of quirks:

- Previous versions supported file drag and drop on the text editor area. Now only the tab bar accepts a dragged file.
- Go to distraction free by pressing F11. Get out of distraction free mode by pressing F11 again - Now the bottom bar will be visible no matter what. I guess the code for state restoration assumes that bottom bar was previously open.

Hello and thank you for congratulations, I'll forward them to the team!

As for the quirks:

- Previous versions supported file drag and drop on the text editor area. Now only the tab bar accepts a dragged file.
On our list.

- Go to distraction free by pressing F11. Get out of distraction free mode by pressing F11 again - Now the bottom bar will be visible no matter what. I guess the code for state restoration assumes that bottom bar was previously open.
Distraction-free mode is now very experimental feature. I'll add the bug to the list.

Thanks again,
Martin
