All,
Thanks Dave and Will for these comments and thoughts on Occupy WS!

I would like us to keep this discussion going and pick it up again next class.

So for next Tuesday:

1) Lets open with a short discussion first of the OWS actions. I hope that those who didn’t make it on Tuesday will get a chance to stop by the OWS site sometime soon, maybe catch some of the media coverage and try to formulate thoughts and questions you’d like to bring to the discussion on Tuesday.

2) Following that - since our meeting this week  was too brief and filled with wonderful distractions, I would like to continue and revisit some of the discussion questions that were posed by Tess and Juan . Can one of you post these on our list?  - say we’ll give this discussion another 15 minutes?

3) The rest of the time we'll spend as planed:  Cindy’s introduction of ‘The production of Nature’, followed by a class- discussion on the following readings:

Wilson, A. 1992. The Culture of Nature, Chapter 3
And
Katz, Cindi. 1998. Whose Nature, Whose Culture?

Seeing as we have so many discussions still open on the table and given that all of you should be reading your books for review by now, I thought we can benefit from an easier reading load. That being said, the Nature readings are complex so take your time with them.
Any questions?
Looking forward,
_Einat
