Interaction and resources?

Hi,

As I'm a student who joined the course a couple of weeks late,
apologies in advance for asking what may be some foolish but highly
relevant questions:

*Where are you guys interacting?*

From the perspective of a student participating in an online course I
can't see where the interaction with other students is taking place -
there's this mailing list with hardly anything on, but apart from that
I'm unaware if people are meeting in forums, IM or SecondLife. David
mentions town meetings in the syllabus - but I can find no information
about where and when that meeting takes place.

Am I not using the wiki properly (I can't find any links leading _out_
of the guild page) or missing something glaringly obvious on the
official site?

*What is the time frame? i.e. What week are we up to? *

I'd love to catch up with the guild work, but I'm not sure what weeks
are equivalent to specific dates in the real world. The syllabus is a
little too general:

Hi Pippa,

Interactions for those of us not attending class are so far mostly in
the form of comments on other student's blogs.

Let's you and me join the Maika'i Guild so that we'll at least have
all the positions covered? Once we're guilded we can have more
interactions working together to compete in guild standings. Alma's
taking Merchant so I'll fill the Monk role.

We're in the week after guild-formation, Week 5.

Yeah, most of my interactions have been to students' blogs, but I can't follow everyone's so I apologize if I haven't seen your stuff. I'm also teaching full time right now so I've had to cut back on my involvement, and I usually just take Saturday nights to catch up.

But I've been learning a lot so far.

Cool, thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah, I've seen the comments on blogs, but I'd really love real time interaction with people too - I feel that it provides a totally different form of community, communication and idea sharing.
