I hope y'all are doing well. I'm getting more and more pumped about the album! It's gonna slay (the dragon)! At any rate, I have some good news. One of my Society bruhs, Martell Covington, is an organizer for this year's Black Family Reunion in Pittsburgh, and they want IQ to be on the bill! The date that they would like us for is August 8th. We're on the playbill for all intents and purposes, but they want some tunes to check out our sound. I don't have the files from the studio, so if someone does, please shoot 'em to me. Let me know if y'all wanna do this, and I'll confirm it with Tell. Thanks!

Cool.. Our tracks on myspace actually still get pretty good play! Could we extract the files from there? (Do you remember the password?? Lol)

Also, CV offered to assist in our sessions/make some "shaker" tracks to go on the album.

I no longer have those files bro. That computer crashed and I sold that ipod to Donnie. Some of it is still posted on our myspace though.

We rocked the hot pants off those shows, especially the African Arts Festival! Good googly moogly. Actually, per Joel's suggestion, I just sent 'em to the MySpace page. I CCed the group on the email, but it hasn't come through yet. My boy said he's the one actually reading the email, so it was really just a formality. I confirmed our appearance at the Pittsburgh BFR with Martell this afternoon. We'll be doing 30 minutes on August 8th. Tell said that we're one of only two or three bands and that they anticipate between 12 and 15K ppl for the whole weekend. That's great, because it means there should be a strong crowd. I'll be making a technical rider in the next day or two, so please let me know what you need and want in terms of monitors and backline equipment.

What's your opposition to it being second? And yeah, we need to revamp this stuff. I am confident that we've all grown significantly in the past year and it will show in our performance and precision.
