I had an interesting experience this evening on Twitter. One of the members of GWN was promoting their group and talking about all of their plans and accomplishments. They proceeded to say how they're the best band Howard has ever seen. This is all fine because they're proud of their band. And I support them. I became angry, however, when someone asked "What about Intrinsiq? They were dope!".....To which this GWN member responded, "Oh it was just a bunch of Phi Mu Alpha cats. All they did was covers, lol." I became livid and told the bama that we're still getting asked to do gigs and we haven't been on campus for more than a year! But, I digress. No reason wallowing in needless anger. With that being said, let's really do it y'all! This album has been in the making too long and I cannot tolerate cats thinking they can come at our necks. Let's f***in do it.

Hey All,

        When I received this email from Matt I was quite vexed. So, I went to Youtube to see what GWN was talking about....Man, I really felt I was listening to a high school recital. I love my Howard people but if you say something back it up with evidence. That is Logic 101. Listen to the following clip and you see what I mean. We can even compare individuals in Intrinsiq to the members of GWN. Not that is necessary but it is crucial to realize that Matt, Joel, Donald, and Oboogie could do GWN's same songs and have the crowd jumping. The crowd wont be saying oh they were good BUT WHO IS NEXT? I truly feel a year has passed and everyone has honed their skills.
