I just got some great news from Martell, my boy doing the Blk Family Reunion in Pittsburgh. They have us opening for the LEGENDARY HAROLD MELVIN AND THE BLUE NOTES!!!! If you don't know who that is, that's the group that Teddy Pendergrass sang with before his solo career. This is a BIG opportunity, which means we have to BLAZE. LET'S GO!

Oh to add to the great news. I have just contacted a guy named Marco at Recording Arts studio in Northern VA (METRO AREA). Basically, he has all the space we need for everything. Also the great thing to is that it is only $65 a hour. The dates that he has available is all day Saturday evening  July 31, 2010 and I believe all day Sunday. So, if this sounds good to you all let me know. And for opening for Harold Melvin and Blue NOTES. ALL I CAN SAY IS PRACTICE AND MAKE INTRINSIQ A HOUSEHOLD NAME!!!!!!

Damn we openin for harold melvin. What an honor. I'm ready and I know the rest of yall been doin ya push ups too. Are we set on that set list u sent before? And as to the studio john was talkin bout, I'm in the NO until the 1st so I can't do that date. I just met this dude who drums for chrisette michelle and he told me to come through to his studio and check it out. Gonna hit him up and see what kinda rates he talkin bout. Peace

Aight, I'm meeting up with Marco at Recording Arts in Fairfax 1:30 on Tuesday. I'm ckecking out the spot, and I'm going to talk availability as well as payment. Matt & Randy let me know when u guys are coming down to DC. Ima need date from the rest of IQ too to get a good idea or how much time is needed, as well as money.

Hi guys just finished talking with Marco from recording arts in fairfax. They have a nice facility, for 65/ hour. They have the 9th thru the 18th open for booking, everything else after that is taken. So I think that it's good timing, since we have that performance on the 8th in Pittsburg. If we are serious we need to give them an hour deposit. No contract needed. I think this is a good opportunity for to get something on wax, as well as an learning experience for use. We'll still shop around but we need to make a decision b4 the end of this week.
