HU Graduate Student Assembly Gala 2012

I hope this message finds you all well. I'm contacting you to remind you of our performance at the HU Graduate Student Assembly Gala 2012 on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 6-9p at the French Embassy.  We will not be playing the entire time, because there's an awards portion and other events which will take place at the gala. To that extent, I think we should prepare right at two hours of music for the performance. Sol Zahran (aka Londell Swales, Mr. Save-The-Whales) will be playing in my stead, as I cannot make it there for the event.

As for payment, everyone will make $36/hr (about $108/person). I will have the check made out to Joel, and he'll get your pay to you. Also, outside of the logistics, Joel will be MDing the show and will be the point man for all rehearsals, so please refer any questions about rehearsal times and locations to him.

What do I need from you? 1) I need to have confirmation that you'll be there. I quoted the organization a price for 7 musicians, but if we won't be providing that many, I need to let them know asap; 2) I to know what equipment you need (that you won't be providing yourself) for the technical rider (e.g. things like monitors, microphones, DI boxes, etc.); Finally, I need you all to get it in in rehearsal and blaze the show! Please respond to this email asap with your confirmation.
