As Murphy's Law so aptly puts it,
"Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong".
This adage has continued to ring through during the life of Intrinsiq, so this time is no exception. J-Smitty's contact at AU has since reneged, leaving us without the "foolproof" plan. No time to fret though; we've still got time to find a studio yet. John's mentor has access to a studio at the University of Maryland. Apparently, it's only available for us to do a demo. If we can get in there for cheap, we can do our "demo" there and the other tunes at another spot. Here are two other studio I'm looking at (which come highly recommended):
2) 3rd Side Productions: I met one of the owners, Rob Stocks, while playing with Teisha as well. He's a good brother and a great musician. From my understanding, he'll likely be a lot pricier than Sweet Spot, but it's an option. (

Everyone please be on the lookout for good spots. Funding will naturally be another part of the conversation, and presumably, we all have the same financial constraints as have always existed. I'm tired of sitting on this project. Because of that, I'm thinking of getting a loan. Eff it; Let's DO it.
